Pieced nylon and acrylic fabric using dispersed dyes and transfer printing. Machine quilted with metallic and polyester threads by the artist.

Artist statement: This is one in a series of horse blankets that I have made. I feel they carry on the costume tradition which has grown out of the love and fascination that people throughout the ages have had for this beautiful and powerful animal. I love horses!"
